Thought I would share why I took this bland early fall photo.
Because it was worth waiting to be updated to this.
This rockery is in progress. Last spring I took all my flower seeds and sprinkled them liberally over this same area kept them watered and the result was dismal. I figured the soil needed help, so to be frugal we put our final lawn clippings on top, plus many many leaves, planted the tulips and hunkered down through winter to wait. So worth it.
Cheers ~ On to knitting.
Cheers to Life and Knitting
I knit as I can, and enjoy my progress even if that means ripping back, Argg! My home life of husband, three homeschooled kids, two dogs and various other farm animals have a funny way of interupting my endeavors. Cheers!

Cheers,
Today, April 24, 2012, and on a whim, here's to my first blog post! As I was contimplating what to name the blog (www.cheerstolifeandknitting) I heard our dog, Charlie, scuttling about in his happy playful way until I stepped into the game room and found this.

I am thinking to myself..."Why yes, I have fun with yarn too, but not in the same way." Kind of puts a damper on things you know? Right out of the box and real life just pops in for a visit. Humm....
